“ | There is no death. No life. Only the Void. | ” |
— The Void[src]
|
The Void is the eighth and final all-consuming Eldritch Terror. It is the end of all things: sanity, reality, the universe itself, and the terrors that preceded it, including The Endless, which is said to have coexisted with The Void since forever. The Void claimed the life of Sabrina Morningstar and was later trapped in Pandora's Box through the combined efforts of Sabrina Spellman and Nicholas Scratch.
Throughout Chilling Adventures of Sabrina[]
Part 4[]
After the Void destroys the duplicate Cosmos created by the Cosmic, it arrives in Greendale to consume it as well, along with the celestial and infernal realm. Sabrina Spellman willingly enters the Void intent on using Pandora's Box to trap it inside, however, before she can successfully trap the Void in its entirety, Sabrina's soul, as well as some of the Void, is pulled back into the mortal realm by the Spellmans and placed into Sabrina Morningstar's body. With this, Sabrina began to develop Void-like abilities, sending anyone who posed a threat into the Void itself, including a legion of demons, Caliban, and Mr. Kinkle. In fear of the damage she could afflict with these new found abilities, Sabrina fled to the Mountains of Madness, where she received training from Faustus Blackwood.
In that time of training Sabrina, Blackwood is also looking for the rest of the Void. He plans to bring it together with the Void inside Sabrina and rip it out of her, so that he can consume it and claim its power for himself. However, the Order of Hecate prevent him from performing the sacrifice. Unfortunately, the sacrifice would still need to happen as planned in order for those sucked into the Void to be retrieved. Zelda cuts Sabrina open in order to drain the Void from her and open the gateway long enough for Ambrose and Harvey to go inside, dispose of the Eldritch Terrors they had already managed to capture (The Darkness, The Weird and The Uninvited), and retrieve everyone from within. Once everyone is out, Nick draws in what’s left of the Void with Pandora's box, trapping it forever.[1]
