This is the third tie-in to Riverdale released by Archie Comics . They already launched a tie-in comic series in April 2017, and a tie-in book series in August 2018, comprising of in-world-guides and novels in association with Scholastic. Micol Ostow had written for both the book series and the third season tie-in comics.
The Riverdale Season 3 FCBD Special contains an exclusive story that was not reprinted in the collected edition of the comic.
On March 13, 2019, Riverdale Season 3 #1 was released.^[2]
On April 24, 2019, Riverdale Season 3 #2 was released.^[2]
A tie-in volume was released on November 13, 2019. It collects Riverdale Season 3 #s 1–5. ^[3]
