The Order of the Innocents (often referred as just The Innocents) are a group of Angelic witch-hunters, who are dead-set on converting and killing witches.

History[]

In 13th-century Europe, thousands of children set out on a holy crusade to win hearts and minds, and reclaim their holy city. As the children paraded through Europe, they offered each soul the same choice. Pledge your faith and join the mission, or burn in the fires of Hell.^[1]

Part 2[]

The members of the Order of the Innocents target the witches of Greendale, seeking to convert and kill them. Jerathmiel interrogates and kills Luke Chalfant, a member of Faustus Blackwood's Judas Society. Jerathmiel hunts Sabrina Spellman while Mehitable attacks Hilda at Cerberus Books. Elsewhere, Gideon tries to kill Dorian Gray but is overpowered and trapped in a painting.

Using Luke's hands, Jerathmiel and Mehitable force their way inside the Academy of Unseen Arts, wounding Ambrose Spellman and capturing the Weird Sisters and several witches and warlocks. They hold their captives at the Desecrated Church, which they reconsecrate to their God. Jerathmiel executes Elspeth and Melvin for refusing to renounce the Dark Lord. Sabrina confronts them but Jerathmiel kills her with his crossbow. However, Sabrina is reanimated and kills them with hellfire.^[2]
