My Strongest Suit is a song sung by Ginger Lopez, Katy Keene, Josie McCoy, and Pepper Smith. It is originally from the 2000 musical Aida and is written by Tim Rice and Elton John.

Having just broken Katy's prized sewing machine, gifted to her by her mother, while trying to fix his Aida dress by himself, Jorge is afraid that Katy will never speak to him again. Pepper, previously arguing with Josie about the "Kissing Cabots" story and her eviction from the Palace Hotel, assures him everything will work out. Jorge insists that it's not like when they were younger; they can't just sing Aida and make everything better. This gives the three of them the idea to interrupt Katy's design process and perform this number. Initially unwilling, Katy eventually relents and joins in on the fun.[1]

Pepper:
In life
One has to face a huge assortment
Of nauseating fads and good advice
There's health and fitness
Diet and deportment
And other pointless forms of sacrifice
Conversation? Wit?
I am a doubter
Manners? Charm?
They're no way to impress
So forget the inner me
Observe the outer
I am what I wear
And how I dress

Josie:
Oh, now I believe in looking
Like my time on Earth is cooking
Whether polka-dotted
Striped or even checked
With some glamour guaranteeing
Every fiber of my being
Is displayed to quite remarkable effect

Ginger:
From your cradle via trousseau
To your deathbed, you're on view
So, never compromise
Accept no substitutes
I would rather wear a barrel
Than conservative apparel
For dress has always been
My strongest suit

Josie and Pepper (Josie):
Overwear, underwear, anytime, anywhere
Overwear, underwear, anytime, anywhere (Ginger: I'm what I wear)
Overwear, underwear, anytime, anywhere (I said anytime)
Overwear, underwear, anytime, anywhere (Anywhere)

Katy (Ginger, Josie, and Pepper):
So bring me all my finest (Finest)
Most audacious
My divinest (Divinest)
Most revealing
Most expensive and to boot (Most revealing, most expensive, most arresting)
Most arresting (Most heart-stopping)
Most heart-stopping
Most free-flowing (Overwear)
Most eye-popping (Underwear)
Most arresting (Anytime)
Most heart-stopping, yeah (Anywhere)

Katy with Ginger, Josie, and Pepper:
Dress has always been
My strongest suit
