Hi Tammy! I was just curious as to why the pages I created where deleted? I'm pretty new to this so I'm sure its something I've overlooked or done improperly. Please let me know what I could do differently in the future, thanks!
The pages you created are not necessary. Mr. Brooks has only appeared in two episodes, thus it does not warrant a page. You may add the character to the Minor Characters (Riverdale) page instead, as he is a minor character. In this wiki, we only create individual character pages for main/recurring characters, this entails that they must appear in 3 or more episodes. Same goes for the respective actor page. Hope that clarified it for you. If you have anymore questions, please do ask.
Pardon the intrusion, but considering that Tammy isn't online at the moment and that I'm responsible for the mass protection, I figured it be appropriate that I respond. All articles pertaining to CAOS have been locked and will remain so for the next few hours. This was done in efforts to give people enough time to watch Part 3 in full as well as prevent a bombardment of edits from users who rush here to make edits before even finishing the series.
What’s Crackin’, Tammy! I’m sure you saw that Mike updated the ticket for Archieverse. I noticed that you made revisions to the plot for Chapter Twelve: The Epiphany. Let me know if you plan on doing that with the other plots bc I want to coordinate on this to prevent cross-editing since I’m also working on revising all the plots.
Yes, I saw. All is gucci. If you've started, you may continue with plot revision. I can double check after you've done the plot revisions to make sure everything looks good.In the meantime, I'll work on the character summaries. Just gonna work on formatting for now and then start adding content thereafter.
Hey Tammzz! My name is Marcus, and I’m the Fandom Wiki Manager for Riverdale Wiki. I am here to help the community and be a liaison to full-time Fandom staff (not to take over or anything). If you ever have a question or issue relating to the wiki, editing, etc., please contact me on my message wall. If you have any questions about my role, don't hesitate to ask? I'll get back to any questions or issues within 24 hours.
Welcome to the RD Wiki, we're happy to have you here. I'm curious to know what your exact role is in this wiki. Is this some kind of project? Or are you here to help with moderating the wiki? If you could provide a little more detail to the kind of service you provide, that'd be great.
As Wiki Managers, we are assigned wikis to help support. While we have the rights to do so, we let local moderators and admins handle it. We are here to help with support, so if there are any issues with templates or coding, etc, we are the first contact. We can also help mediate in case there are any disputes go on and escalate further or even help with any designs you'd like. Of course, none of those will be rolled out without permission from you guys. Wiki Managers are a new thing (brought over from Gamepedia) to help make the editing experience better. Do you have any further questions?
Thanks for the information. I am currently not an active admin at the moment, due to exam season. However, I am planning to return soon. My co-admin, Killer Kev, is pretty much managing the wiki fine thus far, but knowing we have direct support whenever we need it is very appreciated. If you have any questions too regarding our wiki's standards or any other suggestions please do ask us. So, I'm guessing you also don't work directly with contributing to or moderating the content in the wiki?
As we have around 40 assignments, it'll be hard to be proactive with moderation as we also are part time. But if I stumble upon here and catch something obvious, I'll be more than happy to help revert. That is, if it's fine with you and Kev. And I'll be sure to review any policies before doing so.
I understand, but whenever you have the opportunity, do contribute in anyway you like. The more help we get, the easier it makes our job to manage the wiki. I am obviously speaking for myself, but I'm sure Kev won't mind your presence in the wiki if it is positively contributing to the growth of our community.
I have been following the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. I notice that the Part 2 episodes' plot summaries have not been written. I was wondering if I could work on them. I have just watched Episode 12: The Epiphany and written notes on that episode. Thought I could give a hand.
Go ahead! Before you get started please read our Manual of Style, so you know our editing standards. Also, check out other episodes as inspirations on how to write plot summaries. If you have any other questions please ask me or my co-admin Killer Kev.
Why did you change the formatting back to the way that it was before I changed it on the Spellman Family page? I changed the formatting to how it's on other pages like the Cooper and Jones Family pages. In addition to that, why did you remove the Book of the Dead? Witches who have used necromancy such as Sabrina and etc. have used and need a Book of the Dead. It is a witch's tool just like the Demonomicon, poppets, cauldrons and etc.
After checking the history of the page, I see that I edited the page from the perspective of Cjhawkings' recent edits. I didn't see that you'd revised the page after Cjhawkings edited the page. I am sorry for the misunderstading, I will revert my edit. I seem to have done the same mistake with the Witch page. Sorry, the removal of your edits was unintentional. My eyes were clearly not functioning properly earlier lol, I didn't know you edited the pages after the other users. I will readd the information about the Book of the Dead to the Witch page. We good now? :)
Regarding your recent edit about Familiars' superhuman strength, Familiars aren't human so their strength may not exert the normal physical force for their kind. I don't think we should compare their strength to that of humans. So "Strength" is fine enough to describe how strong they are.
Why did you revert my edit on the Nicholas Scratch page? All I did was change ability to power, there was absolutely nothing wrong with my edit. Speaking of which, why is it Spell Casting is power but the rest of the powers are abilities. The word powers is used constantly in the series and yet they're called abilities instead. While they're pretty much the same thing, it should reflect that powers is the word used and should be consistent with the rest of the powers on the list and all witch/demon pages.
Hi, I just want to tell you that I resolved the issue with my co-admin, Killer kev. I was just a bit unsure with when to use "ability" and "power" when refering to someone's skills. According to Kev, power refers to anything done supernaturally (i.e. all forms of witchcraft). While abilities is anything that isn't supernatural related. For instance, fighting skills, etc. Hope this cleared things up. I apologise for any inconveniences on my part.
