Trivia[]
- Marisol previously worked with Luke Perry years earlier on an episode of Beverly Hills 90210.[2]
- Marisol, Lochlyn Munro and Kerr Smith were on the WB's Charmed, though at different times. Lochlyn and Smith were in Season 2 as Jack and Jeff Sheridan and Season 7 as Kyle Brody respectively while Marisol guest-starred as the Phoenix Witch Bianca in Season 6.
- It was announced on February 23, 2020, that Skeet Ulrich and Marisol Nichols would be exiting the series after the fourth season.[3] [4]
- Unlike Skeet Ulrich, who admitted he was "bored creatively" and left, Marisol Nichols was not offered the same opportunity to decide Hermione's onscreen fate.[1]
- However, due to the production of the last three episodes of the fourth season being halted and moved to season 5, they returned as series regulars for the first three episodes of season 5.[5]
- On June 12, 2020, Marisol Nichols said she would be returning to season 5, and that Hermione "will be back stronger and better than ever" and that she is "really excited in telling [Hermione's] story and that side of her."[6]
- Her demotion to recurring is partially due to other work commitments. Due to Covid-19, travel is reduced, and being a guest star allows her to have all her filming scenes in chunks.[1]
