Lucas "Luke" Chalfant was a recurring character on Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. He was portrayed by Darren Mann.
Luke was a warlock who was romantically tied with Ambrose Spellman until he was brutally murdered by witch hunters while serving under the Judas Society.
Early Life[]
After his Dark Baptism, he joined the Academy of Unseen Arts, where he was put through the Harrowing. At some point, he joined Faustus Blackwood's Judas Society. He also used to date Connor Kemper, a warlock who was raised by mortals.

Physical Appearance[]
Luke was a young warlock with short blond hair and bright blue eyes.
Personality[]
Luke was a devout warlock who believed in the Church of Night's traditions, such as how Top Boy is traditionally a warlock. He also believed in the cause and followed Faustus Blackwood without question. However, when captured by witch-hunters and tortured, he revealed the coven's whereabouts.
Powers and Abilities[]
Luke possesses the standard abilities of a warlock, such as spell casting, longevity, and binding, though he has yet to preform any notable feats.

Ambrose Spellman[]
Ambrose and Luke
Luke and Ambrose were immediately attracted to one another but the context of their meeting, a funeral, did not bode well for the continuation of romantic interest. However, Luke returned after the funeral and they slept together. Luke seems to have been sending some mixed signals because despite disappearing by morning, he also left Ambrose his phone number. Luke and Ambrose would later go out on a date in which Luke expressed not only interest in but also concern for Ambrose since, unbeknownst to Luke, Ambrose was anxious due to the presence of psychopomps.
Luke also seems generous and kind to Ambrose, even offering to speak to Father Blackwood on Ambrose's behalf to lessen his sentence. During the advent of the Red Horseman, Luke's protective side emerged as he teleported Ambrose to the Church of Night without asking him in order to protect him.
However, the extent of Luke's affection for Ambrose is uncertain as Hilda gave Luke a love potion to prompt Luke to call Ambrose back. Though there may be some romantic drive from Luke's end, it is almost certainly not as much as it currently is.

Trivia[]
- In Daughter of Chaos, Luke's surname is referred to as "Chalmers". It is later revealed in Path of Night that Prudence and Nicholas only used "Chalmers" as a way of feigning ignorance about Luke's surname.
