- On Friday, February 16, 2018, Lucy received a congratulatory tweet on her casting in the Netflix series from Caroline Rhea, who also portrayed Hilda Spellman in the 90s sitcom entitled Sabrina the Teenage Witch.[1]
- She used to be roommates with Mädchen Amick, who plays Alice Smith on Riverdale.
- Hilda is not the first witch Davis has portrayed on television; Davis starred in a 1999 to 2000 British children's television series titled Belfy Witches, in which she portrayed a witch called Old Noshie.[2]
