Sacrificing Archie[]

While jogging in Fox Forest, Kevin makes a gruesome discovery: a sliced open deer on a sacrificial altar, and its blood was used to draw runic symbols all over the stone. He calls Archie and Betty for help. Betty clear the area and points out whoever is responsible also took the deer's heart. Cheryl arrives, accompanied by the girls she's taken guardianship over, and warns Archie, Betty, and Kevin that they're trespassing on Thornhill territory and that it would be in their best interests to leave unless they want to be shot with arrows by her pupils, led by Britta. Betty informs Cheryl that they're standing in the middle of a crime scene and that she needs to collect all the evidence, including the deer, but Cheryl objects and commands her girls to draw their bows. When Betty attempts to claim the deer as evidence, Cheryl explains that she and her girls will make a stew of its meat, a pelt of its hide, and paste from its hooves. Kevin, Archie and Betty are all upset and disgusted by it.

Kevin, Frank, Fangs, and Archie arrive at the field where they intend to plant the saplings, only to discover that Cheryl has impaled the ground with poppet dolls to scare them off. It's her plan to prevent the residents of Rivervale to have their own maple syrup.

Kevin calls Archie

Later, Kevin calls Archie to inform him that all the saplings were ripped from the ground and destroyed.

In the middle of the night, a frightened Kevin calls Archie on the phone to tell him that Cheryl and some of the others have taken Betty and are performing some kind of ritual.

Kevin and Tom at the sacrifice

Archie races to Thornhill, where he finds the entire town waiting his arrival. Including Kevin, dressed like the other in the cult. Cheryl explains that it's a ritual. If they want their maple trees to thrive and for Rivervale to have a bountiful year, then a sacrifice has to be made. Betty then reveals that she's pregnant with Archie's child, and in 25 years, he'll be crowned the Maple King, just like his dad. Cheryl explains that Betty isn't the sacrifice, as women must bear children, whereas men's blood is the seed and nourishes the ground. Archie's blood is what will bring the town back to its glory, as he has the distinction of being the town's one true, pure heart. Archie looks to Jughead and Frank for help, but they're both in on it. Veronica then sneaks up behind Archie and knocks him unconscious. Archie awakens tied to a cross with a thorn crown on his head and ruins drawn in blood on his body. Cheryl approaches, stabs Archie, and rips his heart out as a sacrifice to the Maple Maiden.[1]

Kevin and Betty learns about the attack

In the teacher lounge, Kevin and Betty are having coffee. Betty shares her baby names with him. If it's a boy it will be Archie, of course. But if it's a girl, she's thinking about naming her Polly. Cheryl interrupts and tells Betty that she needs Alice to take the twins for a couple days after Juniper was attacked by a spirit at Thornhill.

Days later, Kevin rushes in the corridors with the students and other school staff after Toni pulls the fire alarm and grabs an axe, headed towards someone who's not there. Within the crowded halls, Kevin asks Toni what she is doing.[2]

Deal with the Devil[]

At the Babylonium, Veronica and Reggie prep the crew for their soft opening, reminding them how everyone needs to be on point. The duo then proceed to open the doors to the public. Alice has accepted Veronica's invitation and arrives at the casino hoping to sniff out any potential evil. Still, Veronica remains hospitable and invites Alice to a seat near the stage.

Kevin performs at the casino

Later, Kevin meets The Devil who goes by Louis Cypher at the lounge bar. The man claims to have caught one of his performances years back in New York City. He remarks that Kevin should be on Broadway and offers him a deal, more specifically a shot at fame. He even gives Kevin a taste of the better life before further discussing the deal. Kevin gets on stage and sings It's Not Unusual, gaining the attention of the entire casino.

Kevin accepts the Devil's deal

Afterwards, he is approached by his manager and boyfriend, Fangs, who now goes by Finn and is in the process of arranging Kevin's schedule, which includes a six-week run in New York alongside Hugh Jackman. Kevin is enthralled with the life the Devil can grant him and accepts his deal: fame and fortune in exchange for his soul. Kevin is merely the first of the souls Mr. Cypher intends to claim. He also has Betty, Jughead, Tabitha, and Reggie's name written in a little black book.

Some nights later, Kevin took the night off and is enjoying a date with his boyfriend at the casino. Veronica performs on stage as planned, singing Marry the Night.[3]

At Rivervale High, Kevin, Betty, and Veronica are laughing in the hall. They are later in the teacher lounge with the rest of the gang, where Archie and Betty are discussing wedding plans, which Jughead has no knowledge of.

Kevin and Fangs in the Sweet Hereafter

When Narrator Jughead was in the Sweet Hereafter, Kevin read Riverdale comics with Fangs and Reggie. They were all dressed in old-fashioned clothes matching those of the older comics on display at Pop's.

Kevin is at the Andrews house, where the rest of the gang is gathered near a buffet. Archie and Tabitha inquires what Betty and Jughead were doing upstairs. But they have no recollection of it.[4]

Physical Appearance[]

Kevin resembles his Riverdale counterpart in every aspect, from his fair skin complexion and chiseled jawline, to his short, dark brown, slicked back hair and light green eyes.
