Francois is a kind and fatherly man who guides young people he encounters on his path to discover and refine their true potential. Unlike Gloria who has a tough love approach, Francois offers advices and a shoulder to cry on without any judicious tone. Except when his drag queen persona is on stage. In fact, VeeVee Humble is more edgy and flirtatious and uses her sharp tongue for entertainment.

After helping him set up a showcase for the annual unveiling, Francois became a mentor for Katy as well as a confidant. After Jorge lost the Miss Washington Heights Pageant, a drag performance competition, to Deveraux, Francois offered to be his "fairy drag mother". Since Jorge accepted, Francois helped him improving his drag alter-ego, Ginger. They worked together to the realization of Kiss of the Spider Woman, a musical he wanted to star in sponsored by the Pepper Plant. Francois also provided advise on the costumes and performances.
