I Got You is an original song by Archie Andrews and Valerie Brown.
Archie and Valerie wrote the song together, intending to perform the duet at Riverdale High School's 75th Annual Variety Show. They practiced the song together in the student lounge, as well as in the Andrews' garage.
Ultimately, the song doesn't get performed at the show, as Valerie went back to the Pussycats and Archie performed a different song solo.[1]
