Beautiful is a song performed by Riverdale High School's cast of Heathers: The Musical. It was originally written by Laurence O’Keefe and Kevin Murphy for the original production of Heathers: The Musical.
Kevin starts the song to explain to Mayor Hermione Lodge and Principal Waldo Weatherbee why Heathers is the ideal musical. He was later joined by the whole cast who sing alongside him.[1]

- The line "Like the Huns invading Rome" is historically incorrect because the Huns never invaded Rome, but only threatened to invade starting from the time when their leader was Attila the Hun.
- The lyrics contain a reference to the film "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome" (1985).
- In a later episode of the season, Josie would actually cover We Don't Need Another Hero from said movie.
