  • Angels — Celestial beings created by God with wings and the ability to call upon divine forces against satanic witches. The Dark Lord, formally known as Lucifer Morningstar, is the first full fledged angel introduced in the series. Angels have also appeared in the form of mortal missionaries to hunt witches. Archangels are shown to be significantly more powerful than regular angels as shown when Mehitable and Jerathmiel need to call upon divine power to use theirs, Lucifer is able to use all of his even after falling.
    • Archangels - The highest rank of angels.
    • Guardian Angels - Angels that are the guardian over a person or a location. Raphael is guardian angel of Tabitha Tate, and Tabitha is the guardian angel of Riverdale.
  • Banshees — Also known as the wailing woman, banshees are omens that appear when someone is nearing their death. Dressed in all black, a banshee appeared outside the Spellman Mortuary as Zelda Spellman was trapped between worlds. Another banshee appeared on the Mountains of Madness where Sabrina Spellman sacrificed herself.
  • Crimson Avenger - He is the Red Angel of Death and was summoned by the Greendale Thirteen so that he would take the souls of the firstborns of Greendale, both mortals and witches. His face is skull-like, he has a black hat and leaves a trail of red smoke, he rides on a white horse. The Crimson Avenger is immortal and has a hunger for peoples' souls.
  • Deep One — A sea-dwelling creature that was summoned by Faustus Blackwood.
  • Demons — Malevolent supernatural beings that originate in Hell and seek to corrupt, torment and possess humans. However, the exact origins of demons remains unknown. So far, the series has featured sex demons, water demons, sleep demons, Yule demons, and parasitic demons.
  • Devils - Devils are personifications of evil. People can sell their soul to a devil in order to have their wish granted. The Greendale Thirteen tell Sabrina that only the most powerful beings, devils, can summon hellfire, suggesting that they are high-ranking beings in Hell. Lucifer Morningstar, the king of Hell, has been described as a devil. Louis Cypher is a devil who has owned peoples' souls in Rivervale, and has made deals with Percival Pickens and Pop Tate.
  • Dweller - The Dweller is a being that lives in the Abyss. When a Witch astral projects, a Psychopomp will assume the witch is dead and either carry them off to the hereafter or tattle to the Dweller in the Abyss.
  • Eldritch Terrors — Creatures that are older than gods. They are described by Howard as "Harbingers of the void. Old ones. Demons. Gods." Father Blackwood claims that they are more vast and cosmic than Lucifer.
  • Familiars — Goblins who take on the shape of animals to better serve their witch masters. They have a special bond with the witch or warlock they serve, and die shortly after their masters. When not in animal form, goblins are long, black, clawed, humanoid entities capable of human speech before shapeshifting into an animal form.
  • Gargoyles - Supernatural creatures that attempted to stop Ambrose Spellman and Prudence Blackwood from gaining the star's message in Galileo's city, they were presumably sent by Faustus Blackwood and the Judas Society. They are described as having stone bodies, hard claws, gray lips and granite fangs, and stone breats. They were susceptible to attack as the group of gargoyles who confronted Ambrose and Prudence were either decapitated, stabbed through the chest, had their legs cut off, or had their throat cut with their swords.
  • Ghouls - After Prudence decapitated a gargoyle, she told Ambrose to not make puns about how everyone loses their head over her like he did with the ghouls a week before, insinuating that ghouls have some form of physical body and a head with can be removed.
  • Goblins - Supernatural creatures that usually become a witch's familiar, but not always. Prudence and Ambrose encountered a goblin in France who had a cat's head and hairy human words, he persuaded Prudence to eat a goblin fruit. He was later decapitated by her. Hilda told Sabrina that goblins live in the Greendale Wood.
  • Gods — Powerful beings who are worshiped by mortals, witches, and monsters. The creator of humans, angels, and the universe is known only as God and is largely worshiped by humans. Other gods such as the 'Green Man' were worshiped by pagans before God and the Dark Lord. Minor gods linger at the edges of the world. Eostre was a minor goddess who was worshipped by witches before they began worshipping Satan. The Order of Hecate now worships Triple Goddess Hecate.
  • Gorgons — Supernatural creatures with the ability to turn their hair into snakes and petrify their enemies, turning them into stone. Nagaina is the only gorgon to appear in the series to date. When transformed, she grows fangs, and her skin turns into scales, along with her eyes appearing more reptilian. Prudence mentions Medusa, though it is unknown if she is a gorgon as well like in greek mythology.
  • Hellfleas - Prudence mentions that hellhounds can spread hellfleas. They are presumably Hell's equivalent of the mortal realm's flea and ingest the blood of hellhounds and other residents of Hell.
  • Hellhorses - Lilith mentions her hellhorses, presumably Hell's equivalent of the mortal realm's horse.
  • Hellhounds - Lilith mentions the hounds of hell. Ambrose tells Sabrina that hellhounds ate his homework everyday for a year when he was studying at Hell Harrow, indicating that witches can work with hellhounds. Prudence mentions that hellhounds can spread hellfleas.

  • Oracles - Supernatural individuals with the ability to know the truth and have prophetic predictions. A warlock called Urban Grandier was a warlock who said that the Grandiers were the blood of oracles, he could see that Prudence and Ambrose were standing in front of him without opening his eyes and knew of their mission of revenge without them telling him. He was able to know that Father Blackwood had retreated to a place outside of time and space in order to avoid them. He also says that oracles live in caves.
  • Psychopomps - Supernatural beings that carry deceased spirits to the hereafter. When a witch astral-projects, psychopomps gather the longer the duration of the astral projection. They will assume the witch is dead and either carry them off to the hereafter or tattle to the Dweller in the Abyss.
  • Pyrokinetics - Supernatural beings with the ability to create and generate fire with their mind. This gift can manifest through trauma or puberty. An FBI agent told Betty Cooper about these beings which lead them to believe that Cheryl was also a pyrokinetic.
  • Satyrs — Supernatural creatures with goat-like legs and ram horns. The great god Pan is the only Satyr to appear in the series. Pan is described as "madness personified." His very gaze engenders insanity in witches and mortals.
  • Seers — Supernatural individuals who have the ability to receive visions of the past and future. Rosalind and Ruth Walker are the only seers who appear in the series. Their powers come allegedly from a witch’s curse laid on the Walker family. The curse turned them blind but they gained a "sixth sense" they call the Cunning.
  • Sorcerers - Supernatural individuals with the power to perform witchcraft and sorcery, and to step through rifts between universes and become inter-dimensional. Percival Pickens is the only known sorcerer in the series to date.
  • Spirits - Supernatural creatures who are seen as the spirits of nature and the dead.

    • Ghosts — Spirits of deceased mortals and witches alike, who have not yet moved on into the afterlife and are thus trapped on Earth in wandering and differing states of existence. Ghosts are usually physically confined to the place of their deaths, such as the ghosts of deceased children who haunt the Academy of Unseen Arts.
    • Loa - Spirits in the African diasporic religion of Haitian Vodou. Baron Samedi is a loa of the dead and leads and commands the Guédé loa. He was able to take the form of a witch called Marie LeFleur.
    • Wishing-Well Spirits - Wishing-well spirits are said to be shy but friendly spirits, who linger invisibly about wells, hoping to meet a worthy human whose wishes they can grant.
  • Unknown - There are some supernatural beings seen in the series without their species being defined. King Herod is a supernatural being with witch powers such as superhuman strength and forging a psychic bond with his crown, he is also seemingly immortal. Anthony Topaz is also an immortal being.
  • Vampires — Supernatural creatures with fangs and the ability to compel their prey. Vampires feed and survive on the blood of the living, specifically humans, as feeding on the blood of certain supernaturals can prove hazardous, seen when Vlad the Impaler suffered severe burns when drinking Sabrina's celestial blood. Vlad is the first and only vampire known to date.
  • Werewolves — Large, lupine supernatural creatures with yellow eyes, extended claws, and sharp fangs. Nicholas Scratch had a werewolf named Amalia as a familiar, but she was killed by Sabrina after being stabbed in the back multiple times with a knife.
  • Witches — Supernatural creatures who are born with the power to affect change by magical means. Although the term "warlock" is commonly used to differentiate male witches from female witches, it appears that "witch" is a gender-neutral term that does apply to both men and women. They are classified based on their source of power and beliefs, or if they belong to a coven or not, ie. Satanic or Pagan witches, Hedge witches, Sea or River witches, Wood Witches, etc. Sabrina claims that all powerful disruptive women have the potential to become witches.
