Bret Weston Wallis was a recurring character on The CW's Riverdale. He was portrayed by Sean Depner.

Bret was an insufferably competitive student at Stonewall Prep who targets Jughead when he enrolls at the prestigious school. Along with other Quill and Skull members lead by Professor Francis DuPont, Bret plotted Jughead's murder but they were outsmarted by their victim. Bret went to jail, and tipped Jughead and Betty about the Auteur before being stabbed and killed by Chic.

Bret is a teenager with a tan complexion, grey eyes, and light brown hair, who wears his school uniform.

Personality[]

Since his complicated past relationship with his father, Bret has shown to be rude, competitive, envious, arrogant and vengeful ever since his first appearance. His jealously and bullying tendencies mostly have been shown during his interactions with Jughead on several occasions. He is also shown to be very bias mostly towards Jughead because of the latter's checkered past about his alcoholic father and his absent mother and his involvement with the Serpents. His hatred for Jughead has also been shown whenever Jughead has displayed his excellent writing skills.
