I do agree that the ending wasn’t the best. I was hoping for them to go back to the normal times. I do think that the ending could’ve been worse though.

Hal and Clifford because one tried to kill their daughter and the other killed their son. Hiram was a bad person, but would never hurt Veronica. Fred and FP are amazing and Jason was like... nothing. Like, I completely forgot he was a dad.
I love all 3 but Betty’s my favourite followed by Cheryl followed by Veronica

I understand where your coming from, but I think Archie really liked Betty in a friendship way in the beginning, not in a romantic way. Betty did fall in love with Jughead but I think she always did love Archie.
