I stopped watching Riverdale when season 5 started and I’m not sad that Hiram has left, but he will be a villain that’ll be hard to forget.

I wonder what season 6 will be like now without him ruining things and it’s why I think that season 6 will be the last

Loved Veronica’s and Betty’s friendship in season 1. I actually thought they would have a genuine friendship and we’d see it progress into bffs, but they stopped interacting and now they barely socialise with one another

I have read somewhere that Vanessa and Madeline were already friends before Vanessa appeared on Riverdale. It’s why they have great chemistry and explains why they’re comfortable with each other. And it is called acting.

It’s not uncommon for tv couples that the actors have great chemistry and are great friends. If we look at glee for example, Brittany and Santana were a couple. Off screen, Heather and Naya were the best of friends. Their children even had play dates. Another example is with the British soap coronation street, there was this couple on the show that the actresses were best friends since they were kids.

I personally think that being best friends with your onscreen love interest, is crucial. It brings the chemistry onscreen and also it’s comfortable for the actors

Not a long wait between season 5 and 6. It should be good, although I do wonder what else they could come up with lol

So the rest of season 5 will air from 11th august and season 6 will premiere in November and we’ll see 5 episodes of the new season?

It makes sense for them to come back. Katy Keane was cancelled, so it’s about time they’re back in Riverdale

Because of covid, season 5 didn’t air until January. And so when shows start in January, they have the mid season premiere in March/April and then is off until July. It’s how the schedule works. If the season had started back in its usual slot in October, it would carry on until May. Also filming for the season finishes at the end of May, so that’s another reason as to why we have to wait till summer

I think it’s fairly possible in season 6 if it’s the last season. He may be back for the last episode or something. I don’t think this is the last we’ve seen of him

I think it’s because we are coming up towards the mid season finale. They’re having to rush the episodes as the first 3 were the last episodes of season 4. I think if we didn’t have those first 3 episodes, the storylines would have been explored further.

He did. He played Cody in Suite Life and is now playing Jughead. Cole and Dylan both did leave the spotlight for a while to finish school and college. They both graduated from NYU and I think they got a degree in creating video games or something like that.

I liked the core 4 in season 1, but afterwards I started to dislike them and their storylines. I think for me there’s no character development. They haven’t really grown. They haven’t really changed for the better since when they were at school.

In other tv shows, you see characters grow overtime and you see them develop into a better person. Their personality changes for the better. The only character I am loving now is Toni. She really has grown up and I love that we are seeing more of her. With the core 4, I have yet to see a change and it’s getting tiresome. Since season 2 we have seen the same characters. They haven’t really grown or have that character development

When the guy was talking to Archie? I thought that was just me. It must have been a problem with the audio

I personally love this season so far and I love the time jump. I know I said I wasn’t a fan of the first episode of the time jump, but having went back and watched it and the Homecoming episode, I think they’re really good. Much better than the past three seasons.

I like how they’ve written the characters post time jump. I hope that the writers do show us what did happen in those 7 years and explain some things, but I’ll happily wait and see how it unfolds.

You seem to be forgetting one thing. This is 7 years later. They’re 25, not 18. People change a lot in 7 years and especially from being a teenager to an adult. The change in their personalities is expected

If they are dating exclusively, then this will be the second boyfriend that she will cheat on with Archie. From the promos, it looks like it’s Archie and Betty in the shower.

I thought I was the only one that didn’t particularly like it. I know it’s episode 4 of season 5 and this was supposed to be the season 5 premiere, but as a premiere it was pretty poor. Although it is a time jump and the first episode in the time jump usually are filler episodes to catch everyone up with what’s going on with the characters, but I don’t believe that they never caught up with one another. The core 4 acted like they were strangers.

The only thing I did like was Archie and Toni. I loved that Toni was the centric of the episode and I loved her scenes with Archie. I hate that it has taken 4 seasons for for Archie and Toni to interact. They had incredible chemistry and I can’t wait to see more of them. The only question I ask is who is the baby daddy? It was said that they would add in the pregnancy for Toni, but I do hope they do explain it

Carrying the baby for fangs and Kevin, I never thought of that. It will be a good storyline, but I don’t think so though. Even though all three will be living together, I don’t think Kevin and fangs will be exclusively together. And we do know that Vanessa’s pregnancy will be written in to the season, but it’ll only be for a episodes as I think she already went on maternity leave. But I’m excited to see how it’ll be written in
