There is a this thing about the Pagans that bugs me a lot, so I thought I'd share some of my thoughts here. So the problem for me is that in episode 3x04 ‘The Hare Moon’ Zelda and Ambrose talk about pagan witches and how they were supposed to die out around the same time that the Satanic witches ascended, but what we know from the past seasons is that Lilith was the first witch and she was the follower of Satan. She was created by the Christian God aka the False God to be Adam's first wife, but she refused and left the Garden of Eden, and that was in the beginning of time when there was nothing but wasteland outside the Garden of Eden. And if our characters live in a world based on a concept that it was created by the Christian God aka the False God (and they do) then there could be nothing before Lilith, Adam, Eve, and Lucifer's fall. Now, if that's the case then how were the Pagans supposed to exist before the satanic witches when there was no world outside the Garden of Eden back then? How can they claim that their gods are older than the False God, since he created the universe? It just doesn’t add up. I mean, there is a flashback from Part 2 that goes back to the very beginning:

How could there be witches before Lilith? How could there be pagan gods before the False God, before the Garden of Eden???
And, of course, we could just assume that the Pagans are delusional, they are the villains, but then Zelda receives this divine revelation from Hecate and after the entire season of fighting pagans the coven starts worshiping a pagan goddess of witchcraft, which would make sense in any other show, but here? I mean, if the rest of the Pagans gods are just monsters or mystical creatures (like Pan or the Green Man) then what makes Hecate equal Lucifer's power status? What are her origins in the world created by the Christian God? Especially, that we already have Lilith and she restored Sabrina's witch abilities in Season 2 finale, and while it's surely not the same as empowering an entire coven, it really comes down to sloppy writing and creative decisions made by the writing team this season and I'm just so mad and confused.
I'm sorry, maybe I take it all far too seriously.
