Cheryl and Toni

I find it funny how this season only focused on Barchie and Jabitha, even though I do personally love Jabitha, it was better than Bughead (MY OPINION). And I don't care about Barchie obviously, but anyways, they left Choni on a huge cliffhanger during their last encounter and most (including myself) thought that this was a huge breaking point for Choni to finally get back together as they had shared various interactions in 5x18. Cheryl and Toni seemed to have moved on with each other, with Cheryl and Minerva becoming lovers for most of the season but Chinerva didn't proceed a romantic relationship and were just lovers (now ex-lovers). Toni on the other hand was pregnant for most of the season, and was really in the mood or having plenty of time to be in the relationship type or getting back together with someone. It was that moment when Toni asked for Cheryl's help, and even shared a moment together when Toni said "I loved you once, and she had felt her love, which is exactly what Britta needs right now ". But Toni was instead paired up with her now boyfriend and serpent king, Fangs Fogarty and they were supposedly in love with each other the whole time.

It's like the writers point of view is that they were more focused on other things besides Choni's well being, yes I made a discission a few months back about Choni's health and well being mostly relating to Toni's. Even though I do prefer Choni as they were broken up before as friends and I would've been alright with that, but it seems like the writers do not care about Cheryl and Toni's suffering above all else. Anyways, Choni definitely deserves better than anything else in this show, and they deserve more development, and a chance to start over for change and see what happens between them, either as friends, girlfriends, etc.

Whats your opinion on each couple

No hate/No opinion/no disrepect/I still love Cheryl... but where the series used the problematic "bi/lesbian is obsessive and dangerous, especially for straight people" storyline, with Cheryl stalking Josie and ruining Josie's life, making Josie a victim of their relationship and Cheryl an unstable creep who ruined her friendship. Cheryl has since become an ongoing problematic character, who is abusive towards specifically black characters on the show (Josie, Toni, and Chuck). There were never any proper consequences for Cheryl's behavior. At first, Toni's willingness to look past this was perceived by some as the character's maturity, but after they started dating Toni was reduced to a sidekick, acting out of character. The bigger breaking point came when Toni learned that Cheryl had been terrorizing, stalking, and gaslighting Josie, and Toni didn't care/react at all. There are still ship Choni (like myself most of the times), but it is not clear whether this is because they are not aware of the toxicity of the relationship, or if it's a case of white people not understanding how damaging and repulsive Cheryl's treatment of Josie, Chuck and Toni is, especially since she suffers no consequences from her actions. The relationship has only continued its negative course, with Toni suddenly starting to rob rich people with her rich girlfriend 'for fun', despite being from a poor part of town and previously identifying societal struggles and protesting them. Cheryl also started displaying abusive behavior out of fear of losing Toni by trying to limit Toni's social life and life in general outside of Toni's relationship with Cheryl, which is textbook abuser behavior. This led to Cheryl lashing out by breaking up with Toni, then proceeding to verbally attack Toni in public, as well as physically. Despite this, the show put them back together, showing no regard for Toni's safety and wellbeing.

The fandom has only recently become increasingly aware of the abusive relationship that this is, but a large part is still maintaining that it's not, most likely due to the show not understanding what it is writing. The danger of advertising this relationship as a 'representation' of an LGBTQIAP+ relationship seems to evade the people who write this show, as well as the media who unabatedly continue to promote the relationship positively.

(I know you guys love Choni more than anything in the world, I do too, but you gotta open your eyes and see the big picture, like c'mon, I'm not being mean or evil towards Cheryl or anything, this is my way of telling you guys the truth, y'all see it as Choni is all glitter and rainbows, but y'all don't understand the abuse that Toni has received as a character ever since, of course, I want them back together, of course, I love them, but Toni is a person, not a sidekick, she can't just be a person who only makes recurring appearances with Cheryl season after season, ain't y'all tired of that, or I don't know if y'all even realize or even care for Toni's well being, it's like y'all don't even care about Toni itself, only caring about the Choni part of her and her wanting her to be happy with Cheryl, but is being treated so awful season after season make you happy?

Some tv stars from some tv shows have made podcasts where them and a co star watch all the episodes and talk about the guest stars and what it was like to film and stuff i think that madelaine petsch and vanessa morgan should do that and make a choni podcast i think it would be cool put you thoughts in the comments

I Really Hope Toni Gets A Decent Storyline In Season 5 About Her Family Or Something Other Than Her And Cheryl's Relationship (love Choni BTW)

So we not gonna talk abt if choni will make it in season 5 because the actor vanessa morgan might leave.

I understand that the twins were originally staying with Nana Rose, Toni, and Cheryl because there is multiple of them but when surely the twins should have gone to live with Alice and Betty because it is their grandmother and godmother/aunty because Nana Rose can barely take care of herself.

Although, Alice does work so they should probably have a carer at their house which would be better because Cheryl doesn't want a carer at her house and Dagwood already got in an accident when Nana Rose was watching them. And on the weekends and after work there will be an adult in charge because the teenages need to be able to get home work done and study for school ect.
