I call this The Flash effect. Jessica Camacho was a recurring character on there. She had a contract and was supposed to appear in 4 episodes in season 4. She became a series regular on another show which affected her appearance. Ever since then, I feel The Flash has been upping people to regulars as way to have them on call when they need them.

Real talk, that is what I think is happening here. With a series regular contract, they know Drew is available for them.

Not just on The Flash though, it happened on glee as well in seasons 4 and 5. Certain cast members were regulars, but only appeared in 4-5 episodes in that season. It’s like you said, as they’re contracted to the show and can be called whenever they’re needed and not go onto another show or anything else without consulting the producers. They’re in a way stuck in a contract and stuck with the show.

Fnags was barley in the episodes and I’m happy to see him promoted, but at the same time are we going to see more of him as a character and not just as Kevin’s boyfriend?

Yesss! Hopefully they do more of Kevin and fangs (idk what they ship name is)! I love fangs so much definitely one of my favorite characters! I hope they give him she spotlight he deserves!
